I am excited to announce my newest project. I am going to write a book that will provide you with a step by step checklist for publishing your own book On Demand. I haven’t named my newest project (maybe y’all can help me with that) but I am well on my way to finishing it in time to speak at the Tennessee Soap & Candle Meeting in May about On Demand Publishing. This book will show you how to turn your blogs, teaching handouts, e-books and ideas into On Demand and Kindle books for sale on sites like Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other online sellers with little to no costs.
In the past year I have had the honor of teaching a few other authors and have watched several of them successfully bring their books to the market. My goal is to remove the barriers and fears commonly associated with becoming an author and empower you to create long term low effort income.
My new unnamed book will include:
- Tips for Writer’s
- Pros and Cons of On Demand Publishing
- Comparison of Publishing Avenues
- Building Your Platform
- Step by Step Checklist to On Demand Publishing
- Step by Step Kindle Publishing
- Resources for Editing, Cover Design and Layout
- Resources for Writer’s
Now onto the creative part. Does anyone have any great suggestions for my book title and/or subtitle?
Some ideas that have crossed my mind include:
- Easy Peasy On Demand Publishing
- No Barrier Book Publishing
- Self Publishing Made Easy & Inexpensive
What are you ideas? If you come up with the title I use I am sure there is a free signed copy in it for you.
Am I missing any topics you would like to see covered in this book to help you become a published author?
This is such a good idea. I have read similar books but they never seem to really give the step-by-step like they advertise. For people who may not be tech savvy I hope your book really spells out the how-to. Maybe you can call it How-to Publish for the Non-publisher because that is defintely me. Right now I am reading APE and finishing a health program book that I will use for seminars.
Yes TG this book will give you a step by step program to follow with a checklist to keep you on track. I want it to be so easy to follow that even the most creative non-detail minded person can succeed with ease.
How about “Pennies for Your Thoughts”? Pennies referring to the costs, thoughts
referring to the writings. I’d love to learn more about the topic. I would very much be interested in the process of cultivating the inner muse. I love to write but sometimes I struggle with the inspiration for topics. If you could add a chapter on fitting in writing in a busy life that would also be appreciated. That is my biggest challenge!
That is a great idea for a chapter! I will be sure to either cover it in writing tips or devote a chapter to it. I like the name idea too!
Self Publishing, You Can Easily Do It Too
I like it. The title is short and sweet and the subtitle empowers the reader.
