Everything is squeaky new on my website and social media sites and I’m so excited about it. But all new things need some breaking in. For much of the first year of my website my comment section wasn’t working correctly. I also just started a new Kayla Fioravanti Facebook page and a brand new Goodreads Author page.
Newness is great, but there is nothing like a lived in space. I’d love to see your “fingerprints” all over my website, Facebook page and Goodreads Author page. As an incentive I am going to do a random drawing every week for a FREE Kayla Fioravanti book during the month of September from comments left on my blogs and Goodreads ratings and reviews.
There will be winners randomly chosen from Goodreads Reviewers and Kayla Fioravanti comments every Friday. Winners will be announced from this Kayla Fioravanti Facebook page and @Kayla Fioravanti twitter feed on Fridays.
About the Contest
How to Enter:
1. Leave a comment on any of the blogs on Kayla Fioravanti. One comment per blog post, but you can comment on as many blog posts as you want to. Drawings will be from comments made Saturday through Friday of a given week. So you can enter again every week. Comments must not be spam, but real comments.
2. Leave a rating and review on any of the three Kayla Fioravanti books you find on Goodreads; be sure you have actually read that book so that you can give an insightful review.
3. Invite your friends to “Like” Kayla Fioravanti FB page. Once they “like” Kayla Fioravanti page ask them to leave a comment that says that you sent them over. If you haven’t liked the new page yet go ahead and do so and mention that you came over from the “Breaking in the New Stuff Contest.” You will also be entered into the drawing if you put this post up on your Facebook page and tag me (so I’m guaranteed to see it and enter you.) Tweet or Retweet any one of the blog posts here at KaylaFioravanti.com and you will be entered to win.
Prizes:
There will be a total of 12 books given away during the month of September. One drawing from Social Media shares (Facebook and Twitter), one from blog comments and one from Goodreads reviews per week. To see winners like Kayla Fioravanti or follow @KaylaFioravanti posted on September 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th. Prizes will include of the following books: DIY Kitchen Chemistry, The Art Science and Business of Aromatherapy, How to Make Melt & Pour Soap Base from Scratch or for those who own all three and don’t mind waiting can win When I Was Young I Flew the Sun as a Kite poetry book when it comes out.
Who Should Enter?:
Everyone! Go ahead and enter to win even if you have already read all three of my current books. I have a new book coming out this fall and that can be your prize. If you haven’t read any of my books please only enter via blog comments so that the Goodreads Reviews can be true and honest reviews.
What are you waiting for? Go, read, review, comment, like, share and win!
What a fun and great idea. I will head over and leave book review for the book I have read.
Awesome! Thanks Clarissa!
Kayla! I just wanted to say that I love the look of your new blog! I especially like the categories on the right. Thank you for being such a great example… especially of a Godly Woman being who she is, in this world in which we live!
Thank you Elin for your kind words. I am really happy with the work that Jennifer Smith did on my new site. Glad you like it.
Hi Kayla,
I’m so happy for you that you have redefined yourself and your career. I especially like your new FB page and that you call yourself, Wife, Mother, Author, Blogger. There’s something profound in those four words (for me).
And I’d love to win one of your books. Already have your lovely Melt and Pour book and it is very well written. Keep writing please.

Thanks Deb! When I tried to think of what defined my new journey all I could think of was those four words and in that order. I am so happy to get to focus on those four aspects of my life right now.
I added a new way to get entered after I saw you and others post this blog onto their Facebook pages. You have already referred many people this week so you are entered multiple times.
Love your page & blogs. A different and refreshing change from corporate owner to author. You will do great as your are a wealth of great information and you love to share that information.
Thanks Linda. I’m glad we are still connected as I make this change.
I do melt and pour soaps and would love to learn How to Make Melt & Pour Soap Base from Scratch. I don’t have much space, so mp is best at this time, but learning to make the base myself would be totally awesome.
La Tasha,
It is shockingly easy to make M&P soap from scratch. Your comment gets you entered to win a copy this week. You can enter more than once by commenting on more blog posts on my site or sharing them on your FB or Twitter accounts. The drawing is on Friday.
Didn’t know you had one on how to make melt and pour base. I just bought the stuff to make some so the grandbaby and friends can make soap just like Granny does. I’ll owe you a critique when I finish that one.
Awesome! I look forward to reading your critique. Thanks
Carol…you will LOVE Kayla’s How to Make M&P Soap. I’m lucky enough to have it and bought the kit online. It’s easy-breezy to follow along and to have good results.
Thanks TA!
What a neato idea, I just love your blog 🙂
Thanks Jen! And I have you entered into the drawing today. Good luck!
Wow, I had no idea you have written so many books! I am especially interested in how to make your own M&P base. Then I could use all those wonderful essential oils to scent the soap without them burning up during contact with the lye!
Yes that is one of the great benefits of M&P Soap. You really get the true aroma of the essential oils you use in it. I am entering you to win a copy today. Good luck!
