Now the the cool weather is upon us it is time for hot cocoa, but I have no premade hot cocoa in the house so I had to come up with a hot chocolate recipe. It is delicious, organic and agave sweetened!
Hot Chocolate Ingredients per cup
2 Tbsp Organic Agave Nectar
2 Tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
10 ounces Milk
¼ Tsp. Vanilla Extract
Dash of Salt
1.Gently heat Milk in sauce pan stirring regularly
2.Add Agave and Vanilla Extract while stirring
3. Off heat mix in Cocoa Powder and dash of salt
If you want to make your own agave sweetened whipped cream to top it off here is a great recipe.
Whipped Cream Ingredients
½ cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1 Tbsp. Organic Agave Nectar
½ Tsp. Vanilla Extract
1. Add Heavy Whipping Cream, Agave Nectar and Vanilla Extract and whip together in Magic Bulletor with hand mixer until fluffy.
2. Serve Warm and ENJOY! According to my daughters Hot Chocolate is best when served by a warm fire after playing in the snow.
