I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes on the Ology Essentials Aromatherapy Certification Program. I am excited to announce that the program has been approved by the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapists as a Level 1 aromatherapy school in the United States.
Ology’s online self-paced 100+ hour Aromatherapy Certification Program covers accurate world history of aromatics, anatomy & physiology, chemistry, pathologies, olfaction & human psychology, botany, essential oil profiles, aromatherapy safety, carrier oils & butters, essential oil blending theory, applied aromatherapy, consultation skills, business advice, industry regulations, product recipes, and more. Students will complete case study assignments, write a research paper, gain hands on blending experience, and above all learn about the art and science of aromatherapy. At the end of the course, after a final exam, students will become certified aromatherapists.
The instructor at Ology Essentials in is aromatherapist Kayla Fioravanti, author of The Art, Science and Business of Aromatherapy. Kayla discovered aromatherapy in 1998 and has been in the aromatherapy industry as an aromatherapist, supplier, educator, speaker, student and author. Kayla has been an outspoken advocate for small businesses, the safe use of essential oils, and honest practices in the industry.
Ology Essentials Aromatherapy Certification program will use the 2nd edition of The Art, Science and Business of Aromatherapy: Your Essential Oil & Entrepreneurship Guide and accompanying workbook along with the 2nd edition of Essential Oil Safety Guide: A Guide for Healthcare Professionals by Robert Tisserand and Rodney Young.
