Can I take a moment to brag about my brother?
My big brother is Vice President of Development & Production at the National Geographic Channel. I am sure you have watched his shows over the years on TLC, The Discovery Channel and Animal Planet. Look for the name Kevin Tao Mohs when you see the credits run on shows like Lost Tapes; Dragons: A Fantasy Made Real, Animal Precinct, River Monsters, Whale Wars; Deadliest Catch, Mythbusters, Gold Rush and more recently Life Below Zero, Drugs, Inc.and Alaska State Troopers.
This year he published his first solo book on Kindle called The Devil’s Bite.
Kevin wrote a vivid story that kept me turning pages. It is available on Kindle, Nook and other devices for $3.99.
Book Description
“In a matter of days, everything goes wrong for Josh Thomas. His mother dies, he loses his job and his plane crashes. Just when he thought it couldn’t get worse, he’s pursued by monstrous reptiles and bitten by a deranged stranger. As an infection courses through Josh’s body, evil impulses rise to the surface. In the searing desert, he’s fighting for his life and his very soul.”
I am proud of my brother for all he has accomplished in TV and for his venture into the publishing world. Check out The Devil’s Bite.
My brother is crazy busy. He could have used that as an excuse to never write the books bouncing around in his head. What books are waiting to be set free from your mind if there were no excuses?

Hi Kayla,
I hope you’re doing well. My name is Stéphanie, and I’m writing to you with a specific request. I believe your brother, Kevin Tao Mohs, who works as a producer at National Geographic, could be a valuable resource for a very important project I’m currently working on.
I’ve searched everywhere for a way to contact him and ended up on your website.
To give you some context, I’m working on an exciting documentary series project titled “Exploring National Parks.” It’s a family adventure where my family and I will visit all the American national parks while documenting our journey. This project aims to raise awareness about environmental issues, nature conservation, and the wonders of our planet.
As a producer at National Geographic, your brother possesses invaluable expertise in the field of documentary production and visual storytelling, which could greatly contribute to the success of our documentary series.
I would like the opportunity to discuss with him the possibility of his involvement in our project as a collaborating producer. His industry knowledge and experience could add an exceptional dimension to our series.
To facilitate this, I propose sending you the project synopsis in the first instance so that you can share it with your brother if you find it interesting. This way, he can learn about our vision and decide if he would like to discuss it further.
However, I understand if you’re not inclined to assist us. In that case, would you be willing to share his email address with me to facilitate this communication? I would be extremely grateful for your help.
Thank you sincerely for your understanding and consideration. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Best regards,
Stéphanie

My brother is leaving National Geographic and focusing on his writing. He won’t be taking on any production projects. He said to tell that he wishes you all the best on your adventure with your family.
