Today I am starting the first day of a thirty day blogging challenge with a group called Blog Your Brand on Facebook. I love challenges! I am not much of a follower I have learned to harness the power of following the leader from following my good friend Donna Maria. She is the powerhouse behind Blog Your Brand and kicked off this new challenge with The Fall 2015 2015 30-Day Blog Your Brand Challenge Starts Today!
I am stepping out on a limb here and sharing my blogging calendar for two reasons. The first reason is to keep me accountable. I may move a few posts around, but they all will happen in the next 30 days. The second reason is to give you an idea of what a blogging calendar can look like. When I first started blogging I blogged five days a week and kept to a strict schedule theme. This time I am looking at the reality of what each day is like for me and working it around what I know I have on my plate this month.

On November 1st I will start day one of the NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) challenge. Yes, these two challenges are going to overlap so I am going to need to really plan my days, but both are such great opportunities that I don’t want to miss the positive push both provide. I am still up in the air about whether I will use NaNoWriMo to write a bison cookbook or a business book. Both books are at the top of my list of what to write next . . . what do you think?

I can’t wait to read the blog posts! They all look great!

Always enjoy reading anything you write, Kayla. Admire your accountability on a very busy writing schedule. I am confident you will succeed.
Question: Thought of you and Dennis yesterday. I was at a Farmer’s Market and saw ground bison being sold. I was told it was only 5% fat. But at $14.00/lb, it was a bit rich for this girl. Is that typical? Was afraid to ask how much a steak was!
Kayla says
That is a bit high for ground bison. Ours is $12 per lb. http://redcedarbison.com/product-category/ground-bison/
And there is a good nutritional chart here:

Love all of this! You are such an inspiration! Regarding what you should write for NANO. I would let your spirit lead you vs. your brain?

Wow! Your organization leaves me in awe…I am blogging along with you in the challenge, but I definitely need to step up my game. I usually have 3 or 4 posts on the go in draft form, but I am now off to draw up a calendar and preplan the next 30 days. Wish me luck and thanks for the inspiration!

I woke up this morning and decided to jump in with the challenge. Then I spent most of the day trying to figure out yet another new thing with regards to social media. Anyway, I was encouraged by your planning and I will be doing the same thing. God Bless
