Car shopping! Love it or hate it? I love the result of walking away with a car, but I despise the posturing, back and forth negotiating, and the high pressure sales techniques that I can see right through. I like to walk in the door armed with knowledge and a firm handle on what I should pay, what car I want and what features I can or can’t live without. I’ve been using Cars.com as a research tool because they pretty much just lay out the facts, including the good, bad and the ugly about each model from real reviewers. In fact, you can enter to win a $300 sweepstake by reviewing the car you drive on Cars.com.
With everyone driving in my household now, I’ve been researching our next purchase with fervor. I’m pretty biased towards the Prius after driving one for the past four years, but I’m researching multiple cars for price, dependability, gas consumption and resale value. I keep landing back on the Prius. I started out looking for the basic colors, but suddenly I’m thinking I’d sure like this red Prius. In 2012 I wrote a blog post about living in red and I am still inexplicably attracted to it. Red reminds me to live it out loud, live with intent, live like red. And wow, doing it in this Red Prius from Cars.com is so tempting.
